Insight launches ADSF-based single sign-on solution

Designed for access to Microsoft Office 365 and other Cloud-based services

Software and services vendor, Insight, has launched its InsightCloud solution, designed to provide users with single single-on (SSO) access to Microsoft Office 365 and other Cloud-based solutions.

The software is a Microsoft Windows Server-based Active Directory Federation Services (ADSF) environment, making federation with a company’s purchased Cloud services while serving as a federation platform for future Cloud services acquired by an organisation.

“Authentication is a common hurdle for organisations as they migrate to the cloud,” Insight APAC consulting services director, Matt Henderson, said. “The beauty of Insight’s new single sign-on Cloud solution is that it uses only one username and one password, making work easier and users more productive.”

“SSO also offers better security and compliance…if an employee leaves an organisation, all you need to do is disable their Active Directory account to terminate their access to all cloud based services,” he said.

The program is available through a monthly subscription, and once installed and operational, the user is given “full administrative control,” allowing organisations to monitor and manage the server host and virtual machines.
