Dick Smith is enhancing its data mobile services offering through selling Globalgig across 330 stores.
Globalgig recently launched their low cost 3G mobile service across 40 countries. In Australia, plans start from $9/GB per month, and $19/GB per month internationally. There are no lock in customer contracts and plans can be changed month by month at no extra cost.
Dick Smith A/NZ CEO, Nick Abboud said Globalgig was a key mobile data partner in its mobility offering.
“Their service is low cost in Australia and internationally and there are no lock in contracts. As a result you can use your mobile data overseas in the same way you would in Australia and there is no bill shock,” Abboud said.
Globalgig channel sales and marketing manager, Matt Farmer, said Dick Smith customers can use their smartphones, tablets, laptops and mobile devices in Australia and 39 countries overseas without having to change their data habits.
Dick Smith customers can purchase a small pocket-sized Globalgig mobile Wi-Fi hotspot that can connect up to five users at any time, or a SIM card that works with an iPad, iPad Mini, Android and Windows 8 tablet, smartphone or laptop.
