Data communications services provider, iSeek, has signed IT infrastructure and Cloud services provider, Data People, into its recently launched datacentre in Gore Hill, NSW.
As per the agreement, Data People will use iseek’s datacentre in Gore Hill to provide Cloud infrastructure to its customers.
Data People founder and managing director, Bill Bilalis, said the deal will allow the company to offer IT infrastructure management and Cloud services, and help customers transition into the Cloud without the traditional challenges of moving to a Cloud-based infrastructure.
It will help customers build a private Cloud in their own datacentre, host it outside their organisation or transition to a hybrid mixture of the two.
““We had some real traffic issues with our previous providers and we just couldn’t guarantee our customers network speed. So, we started talking to other providers. iseek allowed us to build national network infrastructure for our customers rapidly and easily at a competitive price,” Bilalis said.
iseek Communication general manager, Hugh Smith said partnering with Data People has given it the opportunity to provide reliable, secure hosting service to Data People’s clients, especially in the education sector where it is helping more institutions embrace Cloud technology.
In addition to its recently opened datacentre in Gore Hill, iseek has three existing facilities in Brisbane.
