ICT service provider, ZettaServe, has been awarded a five-year, $13.5 million contract by the Department of Housing WA.
The contract will see ZettaServe provide managed desktop and helpdesk services to the department’s 1900 users working at 36 sites across WA.
ZettaServe director, Jim Menna, said the contract is a significant win for the company.
“This is the largest contract we have won in ICT managed services and demonstrates our managed services delivery ability” he said.
ZettaServe has been providing managed desktop services to the Department of Housing WA for the last five years, but this new contract expands their services to include helpdesk services and desktop services.
Menna said a key factor to winning the tender was the facilities that ZettaServe’s onsite desktop services team provided to the Department of Housing WA over the last five years.
Menna added that the contract represents a good example of the Government awarding work to an Australian-based company that has demonstrated the ability to deliver the required services.
“This contract will grow our business and is an excellent example of local industry development. To win this business under a competitive state Government tendering process is a step forward in the expansion and maturing of our business,” he added.
