Melbourne-based managed service provider Zento has launched two new security reporting and monitoring services aimed at medium-to-large enterprises. Using Check Point Provider-1 software, the essential and premium services are aimed at organisations wanting assistance without completely outsourcing security.
"A number of clients told us they wanted to retain control of their security functions but would like someone monitoring the infrastructure 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That was the impetus for developing these new services," said Andrew Lysikatos, vice president of professional services for Zento.
The essential monitoring and reporting service offers basic monitoring to ensure that a firewall or virtual private network is performing and that customers receive a monthly report detailing alert responses and service-level agreements. The premium version performs the same functions but customers are contacted in real time.
The essential service is available for $900 per month depending on the length of contract, while the premium version starts at $2,500.
