Toshiba Australia/New Zealand has finally found someone to fill the shoes left by departed general manager Bruce Lakin, appointing former Digital general manager and Dell corporate accounts chief Ralph Stadus.
A Toshiba spokesperson confirmed that from Monday (June 4), Stadus will take the helm of Toshiba's mobile computing division for Australia and New Zealand.
Best known for his five-year stint as general manager and director of Digital's PC Business before it was bought out by Compaq, Stadus joined Dell in 1999 to head up its Large Corporate Accounts Division.
Stadus will fill the gap left when Lakin departed in March to take up the helm of ASX-listed software company Prophecy International in the US. He is now based in Denver, Colorado.
