ASX-listed software developer Technology One has gained a foot in the door with the Victorian Government after its financial management and accounting software arm, Finance One, replaced Oracle at the Environmental Protection Agency.
The win is one of nine new contracts the company sealed in December, leaving it with a total of 23 new clients signed in the second half of 2002.
“We are now seeing some results from the pipeline we have built up,” said Technology One CEO Adrian Di Marco. “Our sales team has shown great determination and skill to overcome current market conditions, breaking into new markets, strengthening our dominance in Australia’s local government market and continuing growth in the very promising retail, health and utilities sectors.”
Other wins include the Public Trustee Queensland, the Australian-based international education supplier Insearch, the Australian Graduate School of Management, Red Rooster and the Salvation Army.
