Anti-virus vendor Trend Micro is losing its managing director for Australia and New Zealand to a Master of Business Administration.
Kenny Liao is taking a year-long sabbatical to complete an Executive MBA at Sloan School of Management at MIT.
Accordingly, Trend Micro has appointed Chris Poulos as managing director of the company's ANZ operations. Poulos joined Trend Micro last October as sales director for the region and has worked in management roles with the likes of IBM, Microsoft and Lotus.
Poulos will steer the company more towards a services focus.
