Electronics giant, Samsung Electronics Australia, has introduced a Business Partner Program within its Samsung Team of Empowered Partners (STEP) initiative.
STEP is a three-tier (platinum, gold, and silver) program designed to reward partners’ investments.
Intended to enable partners to better integrate Samsung technology within their own product and solutions portfolios, the program includes access to solution architects and engineering, sales and marketing support, and market insights from the Samsung Partner and Alliances Group throughout the sales cycle.
“Earlier this year, we set up the Partner and Alliances Group, headed by Natasha Datos, to develop a strong ecosystem for our partners to leverage Samsung’s enterprise technology innovations to create solutions for customers,” Samsung Australia enterprise and SMB director, Andre Obradovic, said.
“The STEP program for business partners enables partners to become part of a Samsung ecosystem alongside solutions partners, strategic partners, and service partners to create tightly integrated end-to-end solutions, empowering partners to develop and optimise new business opportunities.”
Training on offer includes sales, pre-sales, technical workshops and technical training on topics such as installation, configuration, implementation and troubleshooting. Marketing Development Funds (MDF) are offered as well.
Samsung said it is also launching a business desk service to create a framework through which to interact with partners. The Partner Business Desk promises support for all product enquiries, product loans, bid pricing, deal registration, and pre-sales technical advice.
The vendor has also organised a national field force of partner business managers who will work with partners to develop solutions for customers.
