The ARN ICT Awards recognise and celebrate channel excellence over the past year. To be hosted at the black tie Celebration Dinner on Wednesday, September 18, at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney, the 2013 awards theme is A night of stars - celebrating a year of stars, aptly named for the myriad of channel champions, talented professionals and high-achieving technology companies making a difference in the ICT industry.
Like previous years, we are expecting a record number of entries this year across the 29 awards.
New this year is the Collaboration vendor award, which is this year’s designated focus as part of the Best Emerging Technology Initiative. The award focuses on collaboration technologies and how they are enabling better business communications and expanding the reach of enterprises. Technologies include video (videoconferencing and telepresence), Cloud-based collaboration, as well as BYOD and mobility.
ARN is also pleased to announce the launch of a new category for the 2013 ARN ICT Industry Awards. The Homegrown Innovators Awards (Service Provider of the Year and Software Developer of the Year) recognise the new breed of Australian companies – innovators finding success in bringing ICT products and solutions to new and established markets. ARN is enthusiastic about recognise companies which have established their businesses in Australia as start-ups (rather than being a multi-national subsidiary) to provide to domestic and/or global markets.
So get cracking and throw your hat into the ring.
