Collaboration software vendor, Mindjet, has launched its ProjectDirector product, a unified project management suite which combine’s the company’s mind mapping and planning capabilities, file management, and task management.
Mindjet said the software aims to serve as a collaboration tool for all team members throughout the life of a project, from brainstorming to managing execution.
ProjectDirector comes with a virtual project management start-up guide where the user is taken through a step-by-step process of creating and defining a project, while enabling all team members to participate in each phase.
To accommodate for decentralised and cross-functional nature of current collaborative projects, Mindjet said ProjectDirector is built with improved project planning while also reimagining how people share and co-edit tasks for more efficient communication and practical decision-making.

The Educational Development Centre, a ProjectDirector customer, said the software has allowed it to improve teamwork and translate this into providing greater overall to customers and partners.

Mindjet also offers integration with Cloud storage services to enable customer to integrate files from external file management services into their Mindjet projects.
