Alloys named D-Link distributor

Distributor to focus on building vendor’s IP surveillance business

Unified networking solutions vendor, D-Link, has signed a new partnership agreement with Australian integrated technologies distributor, Alloys.

According to D-Link Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) managing director, Jacky Chang – appointed last month following the depature of Domenic Torre – the agreement produces incremental growth potential and a path to the diversification of the D-Link business.

“Alloys infrastructure and commitment to the integrated technologies market and its non-traditional approach to servicing customers provide some strong synergy with D-Link’s end-to-end networking and IP surveillance solutions,” Chang said.

Alloys’ primary focus is on developing new IP surveillance business for D-Link, but it will also have its hands on the vendor’s networking products to propose end-to-end solutions for customers.

“[The partnership] allows us to provide a solution to our customers which contains a number of products from a single manufacturer that makes integration so much easier,” Alloys chief executive officer (CEO), Paul Harman, said.

“We believe that D-Link IP security products have huge growth potential in the Australian marketplace and pushing hard with our non-traditional methodology will ensure they get the product exposure they deservice.”

In a statement, D-Link said it will work with Alloys to invest into the training, education and enablement of partners through events, certification programs, its new VIP Partner Program, and the newly-developed Partner Portal.
