Certero’s Asia-Pacific (APAC) regional director, Ivan Kladnig, will host a live presentation during International Green IT Awareness Week (IGITAW) to tackle technology sustainability and promote the company’s brand.
Certero is a UK-headquartered software asset management, PC power management and password reset solutions and services provider. It has offices in Australasia – including Sydney – North America, and EMEA.
IGITAW is an annual, global, virtual conference being held from June 1 to 7. It includes more than 30 live and pre-recorded tactical and practical learning sessions, international keynotes, question and answer panels, and more based on sustainability and efficiency.
The online conference aims to tackle questions such as what the future holds for green IT, and what services, new business and technological innovations can be expected in the coming years.
Kladnig’s presentation is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, June 4, between 12 and 1pm AEST, from Ceretero’s Sydney offices.
“[IGITAW] is a terrific platform to be discussing the latest trends in IT sustainability, green IT best practices, and the development of more sustainable technology,” Kladnig said.
“It also presents an opportunity for Certero to raise its own profile and reputation as an authority in green technology, in particular PCPM. We will explain the benefits of our PCPM solution, PowerStudio, and express our passion for helping organisations across the world to slash carbon emissions and become more energy efficient.”
Kladnig said the aim of his presentation is to equip viewers with a range of skills and the knowledge to take action on green IT.
The 2013 event will be the second time Certero has participated. According to the company, more than 2000 industry professionals joined the conference.
