Carnegie crowned new Google Australia boss

She replaces Nick Leeder and starts in July

Google A/NZ has appointed Maile Carnegie as its new country director beginning July 15.

She steps into the role vacated by Nick Leeder, who left in March to head up Google France.

Prior to joining Google, Carnegie, spent her entire working career with P&G.

She joined P&G in 1992 in its marketing team and eventually made her way up the chain as its A/NZ managing director in the past three years.

During her time there her roles spanned across Australia, Singapore and US.
