Social business vendor, Jive Software, has appointed former SAP executive, Robert Yue, to the role of Asia-Pacific vice-president.
His appointment will bolster company growth in that region, especially as more companies in Australia and Asia recognise the value social business delivers to organisations, including the ability to increase productivity by up to 15 per cent, the company said in a statement.
Yue will be based in Jive Software’s newly-opened Sydney office, and his responsibilities include working closely with the growing Asia-Pacific team in Melbourne, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo and greater Asia as it expands its reach in the territory.
Jive Software worldwide field operations president, Jay Larson, said Yue was selected for his experience and skills.
“His deep knowledge of enterprise software and his ability to masterfully bridge global and regional needs will help us continue to grow our presence in this thriving market,” Larson said.
Yue has had more than 20 years of experience in the enterprise software space.
He most recently served in SAP, as the vice-president and managing director for SuccessFactors A/NZ.
Previously, he was vice-president and general manager of HP’s software business in the region.
Yue has also held management and sales roles at Mercury Interactive, Intersolv and Serena.
