Brocade-fluidOPS technology integration is complete

Combination intends to advance Cloud orchestration and network automation for EMC VSPEX

Networking vendor, Brocade, and Cloud and data management solutions company, fluid Operations, have completed the integration of the latter’s eCloudManager with Brocade’s VDX Ethernet fabric and Fibre Channel SAN switches.

The combination’s completion symbolises validation by both companies to achieve breakthrough levels of Cloud automation and network management services for a complete EMC VSPEX Proven Infrastructures solution, according to a statement from Brocade.

“As increasing numbers of small and mid-sized organisations make the transition toward virtualisation and the Cloud, they are deploying EMC VSPEX solutions to mitigate the challenges associated with managing IT infrastructures and ensuring application availability,” Brocade Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) country manager, Greig Guy, said.

Greig claims the partnership makes this easier, particularly for businesses with limited IT staff and resources, by enabling eCloudManager and Brocade network solutions to provide a complete datacentre view.

Brocade also said the integration will enable customers to achieve new levels of operational efficiency by providing complete infrastructure management for simple, efficient and flexible virtualisation solutions with scalability.
