Business intelligence vendor, QlikTech, has opened a new office in Perth, to strengthen its Australian presence.
The company also recently opened a new office in Canberra and made senior appointments made to the Australian operation last year.
QlikTech A/NZ regional director, Mark Sands, claimed increasing demand for user-driven business intelligence had fueled its growth and expansion plans.
“Our expansion into Western Australia was a logical step considering the growth that QlikTech is currently experiencing,” he said.
According to Sands, the Perth office will help build QlikTech’s partner community and cater for Australia’s growing business discovery marketplace.
“We have a strong customer base in Western Australia and we are looking forward to providing our services on a more personalised level through the opening of this new office,” Sands mentioned.
The company has also made a new appointment, Jenny Jain, to oversee the Perth office as partner sector manager.
Jain will be responsible for increasing QlikTech’s presence across Perth and Western Australia, while managing the day-to-day operations of the new office.
Jain has had an extensive previous work experience in the business intelligence space, and has served at companies including: Cognos/IBM, SAS and Oracle.
