Fronde buys Aussie Cloud integrator

New Zealand-based Fronde, buys OnlineOne, expanding its Aussie reach with more than 320 employees

New Zealand-based IT services company, Fronde, has acquired Australian-based Cloud design and integration company, OnlineOne, for an undisclosed sum.

OnlineOne specialises in NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) products, and has offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Gold Coast.

The acquisition enhances Fronde's Cloud integration offering for Australasian enterprises and will also leverage its NetSuite capability into the New Zealand market, particularly in the areas of ERP and financial planning.

Fronde CEO, Ian Clarke, said the acquisition will expand its Australian presence into Victoria and Queensland.

OnlineOne co-founders, Don McLean and Craig Traub will join the Fronde team, reporting to Clarke. McLean will take up the position as general manager of sales in Australia, and Traub will become the local general manager of operations.

McLean assured there would be no change for OnlineOne clients who will continue their existing relationships with the same OnlineOne staff and service.

The acquisition will expand Fronde's team to more than 320 people with significant potential to further grow technology jobs.

OnlineOne employees and contractors will continue to be based in Sydney, Melbourne and Queensland.

"We recognised that Fronde and OnlineOne share a common vision in delivering cloud-based solutions to our customers. With similar culture and values, together we will be better positioned to deliver a new industry standard for business cloud systems in all areas of service, quality, delivery and support,” McLean said.
