Publisher of educational materials for schools, teachers, parents, and children, Scholastic, will no longer be an Adobe distribution partner.
Adobe’s shrink and software licensing products will subsequently cease representation and distribution by Scholastic’s retail and reseller channel from June 14.
An Adobe spokesperson said the two companies are parting on “good terms” after having enjoyed a “strong relationship over many years.”
“As Adobe transforms its business to a Cloud model, we are also making changes to our distribution program in Australia,” the spokesperson said.
“At the same time, Scholastic has also reviewed its future strategy and has chosen to no longer be an Adobe distribution partner.”
Both companies will work through a mutual exit strategy towards the June deadline.
Customers of Adobe shrink and licensing product can expect a transition to the software vendor’s other two distributor partners, Express Data and Ingram Micro.
