Networking vendor, D-Link Australia, has confirmed that its managing director, Domenic Torre, has left the company.
ARN was initially told that Torre was relocating to Melbourne but A/NZ marketing director, Maurice Famularo, subsequently denied this.
Torre has been with the company for more than 14 years.
He started off with D-Link as a national sales director in Melbourne, and held that position for four years.
Torre relocated to Sydney in 2003 to take over the role of general manager following the promotion of then managing director, Kevin Wen, to vice-president of southern Europe.
He was then named managing director of D-Link Australia in late 2005.
Prior to joining D-Link, he served as a systems engineer with resellers Email Electronics and Logical Solutions, and spent three years in a sales role with rival vendor, SMC Networks.
