It was all about lolcats and memes at the Chauvel Cinema in Sydney's Paddington district when the founder of the Cheezburger Network made a special appearance at the launch of Pedestrian Coach.

Presented by Dell, the event celebrated the debut of the online education service, which aims to stand out by adopting an "edu-tainment" approach.

Pedestrian Coach works by putting users face-to-face with creatives and entrepreneurs in a series of live online classes.

The event also featured a live onstage Q&A with the founder of the Cheezburger Network, Ben Huh, who spoke about what draws people to look at cat photos and memes on the Internet (according to Huh, people are "very bored").

The Cheezburger Network is best known as a weblog featuring lolcats, a meme consisting of cat photos or other animals with captions for humour value.
