Australian ICT consulting and solutions provider, Tecala Group, has been approved by the NSW Government for inclusion in the Registered Supplier List of the NSW Government IT Services Scheme.
The inclusion enables Tecala Group to supply low risk customer contracts across NSW government agencies, valued up to $150,000.
The NSW Government IT Services Scheme aligns with the NSW Government ICT Strategy 2012, which aims to provide a comprehensive approach to identifying, sourcing and procuring ICT goods and services, as well as ensuring that the government harnesses new, innovative and effective approaches.
Tecala Group sales and marketing director, Pieter DeGunst, commended the scheme as it makes mid-market IT vendors engagement with government in the supply of innovative services easier.
“Our participation will provide the state’s agencies with broad exposure to Tecala Group’s range of datacentre infrastructure, virtualisation, security, storage, backup and recovery, disaster recovery and business continuity, service desk, Unified Communications and IT Systems management solutions,” he said.
DeGunst added that the relationship with the NSW Government and its involvement in its overall ICT transformation strategy will enable Tecala Group to collaborate and build best practice solutions.
