Thomas Duryea earns EMC’s top spot for unified storage

Named Partner of the Year in the category at the annual partner awards

IT storage hardware company, EMC, has named infrastructure solutions provider, Thomas Duryea its Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) Partner of the Year for unified storage.

Thomas Duryea received the award at EMC’s Annual Channel Awards, beating category finalists Dimension Data and Infront.

The reseller was also a finalist in the Signature Partner Outstanding Achievement category.

“We have worked very closely with the EMC team for a number of years now and its solutions portfolio has been critical in allowing us to build and deploy industry leading solutions for our clients,” Thomas Duryea chief executive officer (CEO), Andrew Thomas, said.

“Unified storage represents one of the largest areas of EMC’s business, with their VNX storage a global product leader. We continue to see growth for storage solutions in our business, fuelled by the rise in data volume and the need for organisations to see a cost effective, manageable and scalable solutions to support their operations.”

The EMC Channel Awards acknowledge the vendor’s top achieving partners across A/NZ. These are ranked on a range of criteria, including overall revenue and performance, incremental deal registration, and the achievement and maintenance of EMC partner specialisations.
