The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles rugby league club has signed a three-year corporate partnership with electronics manufacturer, Soniq, which will see the latter’s brand displayed under the number of the team’s NRL and NYC strips.
The agreement also grants Soniq naming rights to the new Heritage Lounge at the Sea Eagles’ home ground, Brookvale Oval, as well as the ‘Family Hill’, located towards the northern end of the venue.
“We are always looking for new ways to engage our customers and what better way than doing it through the popularity of the Sea Eagles brand within the NRL,” Soniq Australia general manager, Song Su, said.
“We believe this will be a great partnership and look forward to a very strong season for the club and increased exposure for both our brands.”
According to Sea Eagles general manager, David Perry, the three-year deal is a major boost for the club in the current economic climate.
The Soniq partnership adds to the Sea Eagles’ existing IT partnership with major sponsor Kaspersky Lab which launched in July 2011, and was extended until 2015 in December last year.
