Synnex adds Aiptek to its portfolio

The mobile projector and video recording products will be available through Harvey Norman and Officeworks

Synnex Australia has inked a master distribution agreement with digital lifestyle vendor, Aiptek.

The distribution deal signals an important move for the vendor into Australian shores. It currently operates in markets such as Europe, USA, China and Taiwan. Aiptek make mobile projectors and video recording products called MobileCinema, PocketCinema, SportyCam and Car Camcorder.

Synnex Australia product director, Jay Ko, said the new product line offered an opportunity to expand into new markets, put down to the demand for mobility enhancement accessories in the Australia.

“These applications are not limited to consumers but also business people,” Ko said.

Aiptek Group CEO, Frank Sheu, said Synnex’s extensive customer base provided Aiptek with an opportunity to reach targeted verticals and Australian resellers.

The Aiptek products will be available through retailers such as Harvey Norman and Officeworks, and other retail outlets.
