Former Network Neighborhood chief operating officer, Hanspeter Eiselt, has landed at Melbourne-based online reseller CSW-IT, part of City Software Group.
Eiselt, through his consulting company Spinnaker Advisors, has also made an undisclosed investment in the company, aimed at helping the reseller expand its online reselling business, and is overseeing its operations, he said.
CSW is a 21-year-old reseller run by its founder, Lorenzo Coppa. The reseller currently has a mid-market customer base exceeding about 500,000 across Australia and over 30,000 SKUs and employs 70 people, said Eiselt.
CSW serves customers nation-wide with a strong presence in Tasmania, Queensland, Northern Territory, and Western Australia.
Eiselt was attracted to the company’s online shopping platform, which he sees as a strong channel for the future for companies, particularly small and medium sized businesses.
“It will be an online game changer,” he said.
In addition to traditional IT supplies, CSW-plans to target the energy savings market, said Eiselt, adding the LED market has a lot of potential to grow in the area.
CSW also plans to expand its existing offerings in the health care sector, he added.
Eiselt quit his role at Network Neighborhood late last year. Electronics retailer, JB Hi-Fi, recently bought a majority stake in Network Neighborhood for an undisclosed sum. Eiselt helped facilitate that deal, he said.
