E-commerce platform, Bigcommerce, has launched a global three-tier partner program for Web professionals, designers, and resellers.
Partners that become accepted into the program will have access to: co-marketing materials and promotional benefits; an assigned partner executive who will provide onboarding, product training and support; new commission options; joint social media and public relations initiatives.
While Bigcommerce has maintained partnerships with web professionals since its foundation, the new program is being launched as a means of formalising these relationships, according to Bigcommerce director of channels, Simon Clarkson.
“We realise the tremendous value our partners bring to Bigcommerce and are committed to providing them with a fully encompassing program that supports their efforts and contributes to their ultimate success,” Clarkson said.
Under the program, Bigcommerce’s more than 2000 partners will be classified into reseller, partner, and premium partner categories.
The entry-point reseller category will apply to businesses which have recently started out with Bigcommerce, and will act as a platform to bounce up the ranks.
To qualify as a partner, businesses will have to demonstrate a solid level of experience with the e-commerce platform and a great track record with Bigcommerce in their customer arsenal.
The premium partner category will consist of hand-selected partners which show an elite level of expertise in the Bigcommerce e-commerce platform, and have a high customer success rate.
