Back up and disaster recovery vendor, StorageCraft, has taken the wrappers off new Cloud services for the A/NZ market.
The services aim to enable servers to be restored to the cloud in less than 60 seconds, after a failure or disaster, according to the vendor.
StorageCraft Asia Pacific, vice-president, Greg Wyman, said the services will be able to extend backup, file and folder recovery, onsite failover, and virtualisation capabilities.
“We have two goals: to supply our partners with the tools to quickly execute effective disaster recovery for their customers and to give partners the opportunity to increase their profitability,” Wyman said.
The services will be available in three customisable options including Cloud Basic, which archives critical business backup images; Cloud+ that includes Cloud Basic as well as immediate file and folder recovery; and Cloud Premium that features everything in Cloud+ as well as instant virtualisation of data and failover into the cloud.
Users will pay for the services on a monthly basis and only for the storage they use.
The vendor is also releasing the fifth version of its backup and disaster recovery product, ShadowProtect and ImageManager 6.
The vendor is embarking on a launch and technical training tour commencing in Sydney on March 12, Brisbane - March 13, Melbourne - March 19, Adelaide - March 21, Perth - April 4 and Auckland - April 16.
