The two companies have maintained a relationship for 10 years and this new agreement provides Senetas with access to more coverage in key growth markets for its high-speed data network security products.
It will also enhance SafeNet’s commercial high-speed encryption portfolio and will also have access to its multi-certified new high-speed data encryption products.
The agreement will also see Senetas leverage SafeNet’s 200 strong sales force in about 25 locations globally.
As a result, SafeNet will also significantly enhance its existing commercial high-speed encryption portfolio through the addition of a range of FIPS, CAPS and Common Criteria certifications.
“Our recent CAPS certification for UK government and defence data networks, recent EU and US plans to address data security concerns and this new master distribution model give us far greater access to markets that we have not previously had,” Senetas CEO, Andrew Wilson, said.
“SafeNet’s technical and commercial expertise in our products; its own range of data security products and its well established customer relationships make it an excellent global master distributor for our products”.
Senetas channel partners will transition to SafeNet and its support network, and selected SafeNet partners will act as resellers for Senetas products.
