Value-added distributor (VAD), Connector Systems, has promoted Andrew Craze to general manager of Australia, five months after he first joined the company.
Craze first joined the company as strategic partner manager in September 2012, and has brought it “a wealth of commercial experience in the IT industry at both distributor and vendor levels,” according to a statement.
Connector Systems Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) managing director, Dale Smith, said, “Over the past five months, Craze has proved himself as a highly strategic thinker and a focussed and results-driven leader.”
Before moving to the distributor, Craze was at Carl Zeiss Australasia as manager of its information management systems division. He has also spent seven years with Ingram Micro Australia managing business units for SonicWall and EMC.
In addition to Craze’s promotion, Connector Systems has also appointed Rhonda Chandler as northern region partner development manager and Shane Boswell as product manager.
In her new role, Chandler is in charge of managing and developing channel partners in NSW, ACT, Queensland and NT. Throughout her career, she has held roles with Fujitsu PC Australia, Channel Dynamics, Alstom IT, and Konica Minolta.
Boswell, who has spent the last two years in Connector Systems’ Auckland office, will now be in charge of delivering its vendor and channel partners the focused service and information needed to simplify solution propositions. He will also work on developing and closing sales opportunities.
