Cisco has updated its product, program and partner enablement tools, designed specifically for the mid-market.
According to the company, it will invest further into its Partner Plus program, as well as enhanced solutions and services offers to help partners succeed in the mid-market segment.
Cisco said, in a statement, that it is making these updates as the mid-market represents a $7.1 billion opportunity and tapping into this segment can lead to increased sales opportunities, and ultimately, growth for collaboration practices.
In terms of programs, Cisco has simplified the Advanced Technology Provider (ATP) requirements for partners who wish to remain focused on TelePresence for the mid-market. For those offering a broader portfolio, the Express Collaboration Specialisation provides a new entry point, with partner investments and requirements that align to the Cisco mid-market portfolio.
It has updated its Cisco Business Edition 6000 to include a simplified licensing option. With a new 25-user bundle, partners will be able to offer voice, messaging, instant messaging, presence, and TelePresence offerings at a more attractive price point for smaller organisations.
It has also included a migration program with new pricing promotion, offers, incentives and capital financing support, to aid sales. Cisco also claimed it will launch a new demand generation kit later this month to help identify new leads.
