HP Expands Product Marketing Team

<p>SYDNEY, Australia, 11 January 2005 – Hewlett-Packard (HP) today announced the appointment of Kevin Yap, Market Development Manager, Enterprise Desktops and Laurie White, Market Development Manager, Enterprise Notebooks.</p>
<p>Tony Ignatavicius, Product Marketing Director, HP Australia said, “Together with our broad portfolio of reliable, high-quality products, services and solutions, these appointments will further strengthen our offering to the market and help us maintain our leadership position in the desktop and notebook market.</p>
<p>“Kevin and Laurie, with their extensive experience in IT sales and marketing, will significantly boost our product marketing capabilities.”</p>
<p>White has more than 20 years’ experience in the IT sales and marketing industry and has worked with leading brands such as BenQ, Toshiba and Unisys. Prior to joining HP, he was BenQ Australia’s Business Unit Manager for its Digital Hub Division. White has also spent nine years at Toshiba as Senior Product Marketing Manager for Notebooks.</p>
<p>Yap has seven years’ experience in the IT industry holding business and brand management positions at Epson and IBM. Prior to joining HP, Yap was the Brand Manager for IBM’s range of consumer and business desktops.</p>
