Adelaide-based distributor Saratoga has signed up a new distribution relationship with Web development tool vendor NetObjects. The deal will see Saratoga provide first-line support and upgrades to the current software as well as ramping up sales to the SME space.
Saratoga distribution managing director Ivar Stanelis said he had chased the distribution relationship after seeing it first hand.
"Basically it is a really good product, it fits into the continuum between low-end products like Front Page and higher-end offerings like Dreamweaver, so it is a part of the market that is not already filled," Stanelis said.
In an effort to promote the product to the SME sector, Stanelis is looking for "corner store" resellers and consultants or systems integrators throughout Australia to leverage existing connections in the market place.
"The product is really easy to use, so there is no technological support overhead," Stanelis said. "It is a "no-strain" product in terms of support."
