Printer manufacturer, Oki Data, has appointed Antonio Leone to the position of Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) marketing manager.
As the boss of the vendor’s local marketing team, Leone is responsible for increasing Oki Data’s brand awareness, driving sales lead momentum, and managing partner and alliance marketing.
“We look forward to the positive impact which Leone will contribute by working closely with our sales teams and partners to drive the company’s marketing strategies, enhance business processes and implement winning communications strategies in support of providing businesses and consumers with the best range of printers,” Oki Data Australia managing director, Dennie Kazuo Kawahara, said.
Leone, who has 17 years’ experience in IT marketing and product management, started his career at Acer Computer Australia, where he worked for eleven years in a range of product management roles across the company’s range of personal computers.
He left the role in 2006 for a five-year stint at Epson Australia, as business marketing manager with responsibility for consumer inkjet products.
Leone then returned to Acer Computer Australia in 2011 as product business manager, where he took charge for the vendor’s sales of its consumer mobile products, including notebooks, tablets, and projectors.
