Networking vendor, Cisco Systems, has launched its Linksys Partner Rewards channel program in Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) which aims to educate partners and reward Linksys product sales.
The three-tiered program is based on star levels one to three, each with tailored benefits. A partner commences at the first, and can increase its rating by achieving e-learning goals and revenue targets.
At launch, the benefits available to all tiers include Linksys Partner certification, access to partner promotions, e-learning access and certificates, marketing library access, and Linksys technical support access.
Two-star partners gain additional revenue target rewards, with the top (third) tier receiving an increased amount of rewards.
Cisco said that, at each quarter, it will provide new e-learning modules in the Linksys Partner Rewards Web portal about specific products of technologies in three knowledge levels.
Partners in the two and three-star levels have to complete at least one module per quarter to maintain their level and reach their revenue target.
The vendor also said that, in the near future, instructor-led learning sessions will be made available to partners through the Cisco WebEx online training platform.
Additionally, Cisco plans to let partners customise and order point-of-sale (POS) materials through an online application.
The program is now open for registration to e-tailers, resellers, and other Linksys channel partners.
