UXC Connect opens shop in Western Australia

To allow it to offer more services and get closer to local customers

IT infrastructure solutions provider, UXC Connect, has opened its new office in Perth to be led by national mining, oil, and gas manager and Western Australia (WA) state manager, Chris Upstone.

Complementing the UXC WA divisions of Red Rock, Eclipse and UXC Consulting, the WA office will allow UXC Connect to offer more services to local customers, and enable it to leverage the broader UXC capabilities to better understand customers and generate new business.

“By bringing the best of UXC’s local and national teams under one roof and leveraging the expertise of our global partners, such as Cisco, NetApp, and Alcatel-Lucent, we can continue to target new mining, oil and gas industries, selected large enterprise, and WA state and local governments, Upstone said.

The WA team will include sales, pre-sales and project managers.

In addition to the new offices, UXC Connect has set up a purpose-built facility for acceptance testing where solutions can be staged and displayed to customers before sign-off for delivery.

The company’s move to consolidate its offices has also begun nationally, with the first stage underway in Brisbane, as well as further plans for another office in the ACT.
