Network video surveillance systems vendor, Mobotix, has appointed Ryan Fairclough as Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) business development manager to strengthen new and existing partner relationships in the southern and western states.
As a result of the appointment, existing A/NZ business development manager, Dean Hobin, will now focus on the remaining Australian states and New Zealand.
Fairclough started his new role earlier this month following several weeks of product training at Mobotix’s headquarters in Germany.
“Fairclough is a great addition to our team,” Mobotix Asia-Pacific business development manager, Graham Wheeler, said. “His experience and understanding of the distributor and integrator sides of our industry will be welcomed by all our customers.”
As a supporter of IP CCTV technology, Fairclough said that he plans to take on an industry leadership role over time.
Fairclough joins Mobotix from Seadan Security and Electronics, and has over eight years’ experience at the integrator and distributor levels.
“I’ve experienced the product sales pitch from the ‘other sides’ and understand the value of offering honest, concise and cost effective solutions to customers,” Fairclough said. “It’s the best way to generate repeat business.”
