ePrograms for Point success

Twelve months ago, eProgram was formed as an integration specialist in business intelligence and customer relationship management to partner with Siemens for a deal with the Department of Defence. Now the company has joined forces with CRM vendor Point Australia to expand the vendor's reach into smaller verticals and possibly South East Asia.eProgram joins NEC, Logica, Siemens and SPL as Point integration partners. According to Chris Joint, sales manager of eProgram, the integrator is looking to aggressively target a range of enterprise customers.

Joint believes the Point product suite is strongly positioned functionality-wise, against high-end products while maintaining a competitive price point. One such functionality is the ability for users to change languages on the fly.

With offices in Melbourne and Perth, eProgram is also looking to expand its operations throughout South East Asia according to Joint.

The news comes 18 months after the management team from Point Information Systems Australasia, bought the Australian and New Zealand operations from its parent company to form Point Australia.

At the time John Thompson, managing director of Point Australia, said the company believed it could deliver people and resources allowing it to grow more quickly in the region than if Point was part of a multinational organisation.
