Hosting and Cloud services enablement company, Parallels, has announced iiNet, CtrlS, Telstra, and Otsuka Corporation as the winners of its second Pacific Partner Awards at its 2012 summit.
The Awards acknowledge partners in the region that have achieved notable growth, shown innovative strategies and optimised their business for future success in the Cloud market through the use of Parallels products.
“The awards recognise the commitment of hosters and service providers to the proliferating Cloud enablement in the region,” Parallels Asia-Pacific regional vice-president, and general manager, David Dzienciol, said.
iiNet took out Asia-Pacific partner of the year, having ticked all the right boxes, and demonstrated significant investment in creating services tailored for SMBs, according to Parallels.
In commenting on the award, iiNet hosting manager, Kevin Clark, said, “Consolidating our business on Parallels Automation has enabled iiNet to grow its footprint in offering various productivity-driven hosting services for SMBs in Australia.”
The Asia-Pacific new partner of the year award, which is designed for partners who are in their first year of the Parallels Partner Program, was given to CtrlS for its Cloud catering efforts in India.
The excellence in innovation award, which recognises a partner that has demonstrated innovative use of Parallels technologies in the development of innovative services, marketing strategy, or technical creativity, was received by Telstra.
Telstra was selected for its innovative design and the enhancements it has made to the company through the use of Parallels Automation.
The final award, outstanding solution for SMB, was won by Japanese virtualised infrastructure services provider, Otsuka Corporation. Otsuka used Parallels virtualisation solutions to increase the presence of its hosting services beyond Tokyo to accommodate for remote Japan.
