ISACA introduces new training courses for IT accreditation and training

Increased demand for IT accreditation behind launch of new training courses

Global IT organisation, ISACA, is launching a range of new training courses to meet the increasing demand for IT accreditation and training.

ISACA has partnered with examination institute APMG-International for the new programs. The organisations plan to launch four new COBIT 5 training courses over the next five months

APMG has been appointed as ISACA’s official training accreditation partner for COBIT 5, ISACA’s framework for governance and management of enterprise IT. The agreement is in place for three years.

The two organisations will also develop training courses and exams for individual course certificates. APMG will also assess and accredit trainers and manage the examination process for the courses.

The announcement followed a recent ISACA survey, which found that half of all Australian and New Zealand enterprises use a framework or standard for governance and management of enterprise IT assets and services.

ISACA provides certifications, community, advocacy and education on information systems assurance and security, enterprise governance and management of IT, and IT-related risk and compliance. APMG’s portfolio includes ASL, BiSL, ITIL, PRINCE2, and MSP.
