The annual Elite sales competition, now in its third year, rewards WatchGuard’s top selling partners who have achieved the highest sales revenue in a year.
WatchGuard Technologies A/NZ country manager, Pat Devlin, sees the Fiji location as a good opportunity to hold a great event for partners, as well as working with the Fijian people in supporting the community.
“We value and understand the importance of good relationships and working together to achieve the best outcomes for all involved,” he said.
Elite 2012 is open to all of WatchGuard’s A/NZ partners and resellers, with their sales growth and performance measured from July 1, 2011, to September 30, 2012.
The winners will be rewarded with a trip to Fiji for four days of fun and relaxation, as well as seminar sessions and break-out group discussions on the vendor’s product and technology roadmap, support and customer care programs, and sales and marketing opportunities.
“We’re looking forward to rewarding our partners with a wonderful experience in recognition of their hard work and dedication in assisting us with another great and successful year,” Devlin said.
Devlin said about 50 partner companies are already participating in the competition, and initial sales results are already showing potential in outstripping last year’s achievements.
“In fact, we recorded a 23 per cent growth in revenue in Q2 this year compared to the same quarter in 2011,” Devlin said.
Trip reward packages will be awarded to different categories of winners spread over the company’s two regions.
The Northern Region includes ACT, NSW, NT, Queensland and New Zealand, and the Southern Region includes Victoria, Tasmania, SA and WA.
WatchGuard’s Elite 2012 Conference will be held at Shangri-la’s Fijian Resort & Spa on the Coral Coast from November 8 to 11.
