Toshiba hopes to have some of the glamour associated with Hollywood rub off on its Australian partners with its new channel promotion.
The Head to Hollywood competition targets Toshiba resellers selling selected business notebooks, where partners will be eligible to play a game of Toshiba’s online mystery celebrity quiz, Hollywood Head, for each sale made before September 28.
Eligible Toshiba notebook lines include Satellite, Satellite Pro, Tecra, and Portégé.
Toshiba Australia A/NZ channel sales manager, Angela Walker, said the promotion aims to stimulate resellers to focus on the vendor’s recently launched range of business notebooks.
“We are always looking for ways to reward sales success with our channel partners who play such an important role in Toshiba’s sales strategy,” she said.
A weekly draw will be held each Monday until October 1, with the first prize, a trip for two to Los Angeles, awarded to the fastest, correct entry.
Walker says that with a selection of “A-list prizes up for grabs,” Toshiba is hoping for "a lot of entries" from resellers for the promotion.
The winner will receive a trip for two people to Hollywood in Los Angeles, including return flights to the city from their nearest capital city, airport transfers, seven nights’ accommodation at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, which is altogether valued at more than $10,000.
Prizes for runner up entries include Toshiba TVs, notebooks, tablets, camcorders, and Blu-ray players.
Other prizes include coffee makers, luggage, headphones, gaming consoles, smartphones and GPSs.
