Business analysis specialist, Inside Info, has been selected by US-based Cloud corporate performance management (CPM) provider, Host Analytics, to take its business analytics technology to the Australia and New Zealand market.
Host Analytics CEO, Jon Kondo, said that Inside Info was chosen as it “is a well-respected and accomplished technology reseller,” and will have the ability to empower Australian and New Zealand businesses.
According to Inside Info managing director, Stuart Barnard, the partnership is beneficial for the reseller as it comes at a time when local CFOs and CIOs are looking to business analytics and the Cloud for competitive advantage and accelerated growth. His perspective is in line with findings from an IDC poll from November 2011 of CFOs in Asia-Pacific.
In reference to another poll conducted by IDC in May of Australian CIOs, Barnard sees CPM as a unique value proposition for businesses in the region as cost reduction soars on the priority scale.
“As a discrete process, like customer relationship management (CRM), CPM is particularly well suited to a Cloud delivery model, he said. “It provides organisations greater flexibility, lower capital costs, and fast implementations that take weeks rather than six plus months.”
