Panasonic Australia launched its Gold Partner channel program which is designed to give resellers of its interactive whiteboard product personalised support in order to build their businesses, according to Panasonic Australia product marketing manager, Alyssa Henderson.
Collaboratively designed with 15 specific dealers in the education space, the program was created to promote education reseller access to the product, Henderson said.
To qualify for the scheme, partners must have dedicated education-focused sales people, the ability to demonstrate the product on sight and in-house, the ability to hold training events seminars, and install the product for the end user and offer training.
Support for the reseller is available in the form of hardware and software product training, marketing support, co-operative advertising, and sales promotions.
Additionally, Panasonic Australia national business development manager, Damnien Vanslambrouck will be taking care of the dealers in this space. He aims to visit each partner once per quarter, offering catered guidance and support, alongside tips on the product and sales strategies.
“The Gold Partner channel program puts a strong emphasis on helping develop the dealers’ businesses in Australia, and will offer a greater level of individual attention to the Gold Partners involved,” she said.
Melbourne-based ICT solutions company, Invotec, claims that the program has allowed it to provide competitive pricing and builds its whiteboard business in Victoria, particularly within the education sector.
“Combined with promotions that Panasonic has… we feel confident that through this program, we can benefit both businesses by contributing to an increased market share for Panasonic’s interactive whiteboard range in Victorian education,” Invotec director, Anthony Fisher, said.
Henderson said that the benefit of the program extends to the customer, too. “Under the new program, dealers will have the ability to provide special ‘bundled soltuions’ that include installation, which can be a great option for the end user.”
Apart from competitive pricing, customers will have access to Panasonic promotions and trainers.
