Sharp has released its latest range of LCD projectors. Featuring a sleek design and weighing 2.6 kilograms, the XVZ 7000E has been designed specifically with the education and home entertainment markets in mind. The unit is generally shelved or mounted to a tabletop or ceiling, while its zoom and focus is handled by a small remote-control unit. From as little as 1.6 metres away, the unit can give a clear picture that is 40 inches wide. The projector has been distributed to authorised Sharp dealers and retails at around $7755.
