Samsung Electronics has released its Series 9 notebooks, two of which are powered by third generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, in Australia.
The devices are part of the vendor’s ‘thin and light’ range, with key components designed specifically to fit into a thin single shell body that measures in at 14.9mm in thickness for the 15-inch model and 12.9mm for the 13.3-inch.
This includes a 128GB solid state drive (SSD) that is the size of an Australian twenty cent coin.
Additionally, the Series 9 Ivy Bridge range offers up to 8GB RAM, and features a multi-touch clickpad with glass coating and image sensor.
The products are available for: 13.3-inch - $1599; 15-inch - $1899.
