Printing and imaging solutions vendor, Lexmark, has signed an Australian distribution agreement with print specialist distributor, Alloys, as part of its strategy to expand reach and compatibility in the Australian market.
The partnership proposition occurred approximately eight months ago, and was finalised last Friday, according to Alloys CEO, Paul Harman.
As part of the agreement, Alloys will distribute Lexmark supplies to local resellers of both companies.
“There are several parallels between our two businesses, which makes this partnership very exciting for Lexmark,” Lexmark Australia and New Zealand general manager, Carmel Mosser, said. “The primary factor is that we are both focused heavily on the level of service and convenience we can provide to our customers and partners.”
On the partner side, Alloys and Lexmark are currently working together with a number of new programs, and finetuning its existing offerings, including the Lexmark Elite Partner Program, Harman told ARN.
Harman also revealed that Alloys is also holding discussions with other vendors, and additional partnerships may be announced in the near future.
