The company aligned itself with WhiteGold as it was seeking stronger brand recognition within the A/NZ space.
As per the agreement, WhiteGold’s CloudWise division will offer all of Zscaler’s Cloud security services to channel partners. Zscaler Asia-Pacific and Japan vice-president, Matt Bennett, said that there is currently an accelerating demand by SMBs to move into the integrated Web and email filtering space within the Cloud.
“WhiteGold will allow us to support accelerating VAR demand for Zscaler services and enable partners to increase revenue through our Pinnacle Partner Program,” Bennett said.
Distributing Zscaler’s range of solutions has enabled WhiteGold to offer its customers with total pure-play within the Cloud Web security space, according to its solutions strategic consultant, Leigh Howard.
“Zscaler’s integrated Web, email and mobile security Cloud services offer channel partners a unified security solution that will scale in sync with their customers’ growth and security needs,” Howard, said.
He mentioned that Zscaler fits well with WhiteGold’s security line-up, its original DNA, as it is branching out to offer security-focused resellers and resellers looking to get into security with a Cloud option rather than just software and hardware based solutions.
He also claimed that the company will be targeting businesses horizontally – from small sized companies to large multi-user enterprises.
Zscaler distributes its Cloud security solutions exclusively through reseller channels.
WhiteGold will be bundling the solutions with other products, depending on the consumer’s needs.
It will also be launching a seminar in Melbourne and Sydney in the coming days to educate its resellers on the solutions.
