Hot on the heels of the announcement that QlikTech has made the number three spot on Forbes’ annual list of the 25 Fastest-Growing Tech Companies, the company’s Australian operation is getting an expansion boost.
The business intelligence (BI) software vendor is not only opening a new office in Canberra, but is also making senior appointments to the Australia operation.
“With these appointments, combined with the opening of our Canberra office, we are starting to realise our vision for growth in the Australian market,” QlikTech Australia and New Zealand regional director, Mark Sands, said.
Formerly at Progress Software and Software AG as Australian country manager, Stuart Rees will take the enterprise account director role at QlikTech.
Based in Melbourne, Ida Montagner will take care of QlikTech’s partner business in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania in the partner sales manager role.
Previously at IBM and focusing on defence, Peter Daniell has been appointed public sector sales manager and will helm QlikTech’s new Canberra office.
Doug Goethal enters Qliktech in the enterprise solution architect role, while Rod Stewart will hold the solution architect position in the new Canberra office.
