Logicalis acquires Corpnet to become player in Queensland market

IT solutions and managed services provider, Logicalis Group has acquired Brisbane based Corpnet from e-Business Systems for $2.7 million on completion, with another potential earn-out payment of $0.6 million.

Corpnet provides datacentre, Cloud and manages services solutions to Queensland’s mid-sized and enterprise markets.

It was acquired due to its storage and virtualisation expertise. It has also built its Cloud-based services to deliver Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Managed Backup and DR-as-a-Service offerings that complement Logicalis’ managed services portfolio.

The acquisition allows Logicalis to further penetrate into the Queensland market, particularly within the financial, mining, construction, and travel sectors, and builds upon its existing datacentre and managed services expertise.

“This acquisition further enhances our ability to serve the Australian market and complements and augments our managed services business, adding important skilled resources and new Cloud-based services, enabling us to deliver a stronger end-to-end managed services portfolio to new and existing clients,” Logicalis CEO, Ian Cook, said.
